Stucco

Stucco is the most ancient means of decorating residential constructions. Stucco serves as decoration; it can possess fine arts potentialities as the visible top layer of the plaster implies the depth, “swallowing up” the paints and glimmering of various shades which wallpaper or plain painting cannot convey. The plaster can include such ingredients as ground bricks, shale, mica, animal glues, fine-grained sand, inert gypsum. The amount of each of these ingredients influences the quality and the decorative properties of the texture plaster.

Decorative plaster is used to decorate interiors (walls, ceilings, parquet) and furniture, stucco mouldings, glass, ceramics and even bricks. Decorative finishes can be used both for interiors and facades.

Texture plasters not only look well but also provide durability of the cover, they have the property of being moisture-resistant, soundproof and heat-insulated. And owing to the fact that special waterproof glues are added into its composition stucco can be used to decorate walls of water-pools, bathrooms and lavatories. It can be washed and cleaned by any detergents.

Decorative plaster allows flight of fancy, it enables creation of various types of decorative surfaces from smooth to rough, imitating natural stone. Different degrees of flocaustico graining, a great number of colour shades and complicated composition of decorative materials provide almost boundless opportunities in interior decoration.

Thus, we can say that undoubtedly texture or decorative plaster is the most modern, convenient and beautiful means of interior decorating.
